St Cyprien is 750 miles from Calais.
We usually take the Dover - Calais route (Speed Ferries;
approx £60 per
return crossing) or Folkestone via the
Eurotunnel, but there are several
alternatives including Portsmouth - Le Havre or Caen.
Autoroutes are subject to tolls, and to drive down on virtually all
motorway costs around £40.
Lots of low cost airlines cover this area now e.g.:
Ryanair daily from Stansted, or
Flybe from Birmingham to Perpignan
(30 minutes from the apartment).
GO and
EasyJet to Barcelona (2.5 hours from the apartment)
Check the Internet for hire car companies operating out of the
airport of your choice (NB. car hire is cheaper in Spain than France).
