Introduction
The apartment is part of a complex with private
outdoor parking and landscaped grounds with uninterrupted views of
the Mediterranean and the mountains (the beach is less than 100
metres away). The development has two outdoor pools, one of which is
for children. The pools are open from June to the end of September.
All tenants are asked to wear a blue/green bracelet when using the
pool (there are 6 kept in the apartment) this is to deter
non-residents from using it. The whole complex is kept very neat and tidy by the gardien, who
lives on the ground floor of the middle block of the complex. He is very
pleasant, but doesn't speak any English. He holds a spare set of keys to
our apartment and is on hand to help in emergencies (as are our English
friends the Skiltons who look after the change over of the apartment for
us).

The 'common' parts of the building are cleaned daily, and the
rubbish is also taken away daily by the council. (There is a communal
store in the car park where the rubbish is collected). The private car
park has a security barrier, which is raised by using the magnetic
opener provided with the keys to the apartment. |
The Apartment
The apartment is on the second floor. It is accessible by stairs.
 |
The accommodation consists of: Main
living/annex area/kitchen area/entrance hall. This is roughly one
large open area and offers a large fully sprung double sofa bed
and also a comfortable chair bed that converts in to a fully
sprung single bed, a small pine unit and welsh dresser, 4 dining
chairs and dining table.
There is also a large sliding glass door leading to the
balcony.

The kitchen is part of the main living area and has a microwave,
fridge, hob, small cooker and all the necessary cooking utensils. Plenty of crockery and cutlery are provided. We keep various kitchen
supplies in stock which you are welcome to use but if anything runs
out, please replace it (apart from tea which we replace from England -
the French don't do proper tea!). The bathroom with toilet, washbasin, bath with shower over and
washing machine is off the entrance hall. |
 |
The bunk bedroom has a bunk bed, both beds with new
mattresses, a bedside light and drawers and large storage space under
the bottom bed. All the beds in the apartment are furnished with new
duvets, pillows, sheets and pillowcases, all the rooms are bright and
attractive with curtains and pictures and good quality furniture.
The large patio/balcony has an outside table and 5 chairs. There
is a large umbrella and base available for the balcony which will be
essential from the late morning onwards (especially in season).
Remember that it is an extremely hot and sunny part of France, and
also very windy at times! |

Equipment and Furnishings
The apartment is very well furnished and equipped. There is a
radio/CD player in the lounge as well as a small selection of books,
maps, games etc.
Bed linen is provided - sheets, pillowcases, pillows and duvets.
Towels and tea towels are also provided. Each party is allowed one set
of bed linen and towels per week which is cleaned after your departure
and we would ask that no more is used as this upsets the system and
causes problems for the letting to follow yours.
As well as the washing machine in the apartment there is also a
laundromat at St Cyprien Port, which is open from 7am - 8.30pm daily.
You can hang washing out on an airer on the balcony.
The apartment is inspected after each party has left. You will find
the apartment in a clean and tidy state and we would ask that you leave
the apartment as you find it - being a modern apartment it is not
difficult to keep clean. Also, please let us know if you break anything
- simply so that we can keep a check on things and know what needs
replacing.
No Smoking Please!
We would appreciate you not smoking inside the apartment.
